July 10, 2009, Newsletter Issue #100: Monday Groggy? Get Your Workout In, Even A Walk

Tip of the Week

Just a short post to say that yoga is a great remedy for the Monday groggy feeling that I (and maybe others?) get. And I'm not talking about nursing a hangover, just that feeling you have sometimes on Monday as you transition back from weekend to the week.


That's my problem today, partly because I took this morning off from running. I had an early phone call at work and forgot to set the alarm extra early, so I took a day off from running not by choice. Running helps with so many things, including getting the week off to a good start (at least it does for me).


So, I'm hoping to make it to my Monday night yoga class, but if all else fails I will take a walk this evening and not worry about it. Remember, workout schedules are never written in stone!
