Bonding With A BOSUI have written enough about balance training to know that BOSU balls are good balance tools, but I'd never tried one. Until yesterday. I went to the gym, and there was a BOSU ball sitting right next ot the leg extension machine that I was about to use. So I looked at it, and I thought, "heck, I'm going to try to stand on this thing." I held onto the machine and stepped up. And I wobbled. But then I found my balance (on both feet--I'm not crazy!) and even stretched my arms out to the sides. I couldn't exactly feel my core muscles working, bu supposedly they were. I stood on the BOSU for about 30 seconds, so that's not really enough to judge. But standing on it wasn't as hard as I thought, so I'm going to try it again at the gym tomorrow and see what, if anything happens. I'm always up for a new way to work on my abs! Happy Running!
