Buying Your Fitness BallBefore I get too far into suggestions for bonding with your fitness ball, it occurred to me that I should offer some tips for buying one. Large exercise balls are available in several sizes, and you should choose one approximately according to your height. There are many places to buy exercise balls, but I recommend www.fitball.com as a good place to start. The fitball site suggests a 45-cm ball if you are 4'8'' or shorter, a 55-cm ball for those 4'8'' to 5'3'', a 65-cm ball for those 5'3'' to 6'0'', and 6'0 to 6'7''. But if you are on the border of two sizes and you have long legs, you may want a larger ball. Or if you have used a particular size at the gym and like it, that's what you should choose. Also, don't forget to buy a pump, unless you have access to a pump at your gym (which is how I have gotten by so far). Stay tuned for more exercises tomorrow, and look into buying that ball!
