Get Back To Open ShouldersI've spent a lot of time at the laptop lately, and I'm definitely suffering from computer hunch. But I have been reading about all the benefits of those big exercise balls, and among them is a reminder that simply lying over the ball can help relieve tight shoulders, open the chest, and otherwise help to neutralize laptop hunch. I usually use my fitness ball for various types of crunches, and to sit on sometimes while watching TV. But I'm going to try to incorporate lying on the ball into my pre-bedtime routine and see whether my shoulders feel less tight. I recommend fitness balls for all sorts of cross training for runners, but especially for crunches. The balls are fairly inexpensive, but be sure to invest in a burst-resistant one, which will probably cost about $25. Here's to a happier back!
